IsItVegan
A cross-platform app that checks whether a product is vegan from a barcode or a photo using a vision model, with a community layer, push notifications and over-the-air updates.
I take things from a vague idea to a running platform: the database, the payments, the emails, the admin panel, the polish. My automations are custom-built and deterministic by design, reliable, not a black box, with AI added only where it genuinely helps. Versatile, adaptive, and happiest building things that make someone's day easier.
I care about the whole product, not just the pretty part. I've shipped a booking-and-commerce platform, co-founded an art marketplace, published a Chrome extension people rely on daily, and built dozens of internal tools that quietly save teams hours.
That range is the point. I move comfortably from WordPress and WooCommerce to Django, Next.js and React Native; from a Google Apps Script that routes approvals to a full marketplace with real-time chat and payments. I build the boring, reliable parts properly, and reach for AI only when it makes the thing genuinely better. I grew up in Palestine and worked in an Arabic-first university setting, so I build systems that support Arabic, right-to-left and all, as a first-class concern.
Real products with real users, payments, and all the unglamorous parts done properly.
A full second-hand marketplace for university students. Beyond buy-and-sell: students can request items they are after, negotiate with offers and counter-offers, and chat in real time. AI helps write listings and a live impact score shows the carbon saved. On identifying a product, an agent checks comparable live listings in real time to suggest a fair price, with results cached, a deterministic flow rather than a guess. Built end to end, down to onboarding, dark mode and push.
Not a landing page, a platform. It runs an online shop with cart, checkout, delivery and order emails; a custom table-reservation engine with real-time session availability and concurrency locking; a live fundraising campaign; automated and marketing emails; and a full admin back office behind all of it. Built solo, end to end.
An e-commerce venue for Palestinian artists that I built and co-founded from the ground up on WordPress and WooCommerce: a gallery and handicrafts shop, individual artist and partner pages, events and webinars, memberships and full card payments. It has served 500+ users and processed over 1000 transactions.
A tool that genuinely saves people time. It records a browser workflow and turns it into a polished step-by-step guide, exportable to HTML, DOCX or Markdown, with annotations, redaction and smart capture. Local-first: no backend, no accounts, nothing leaves the browser.
Shipped across web, mobile and the browser.

A World Cup 2026 sweepstake tracker with fair random team distribution, a full tiered scoring engine and a live leaderboard driven by a football data API.
A Safari and Edge extension that unlocks picture-in-picture, background playback and other quality-of-life features for YouTube on iOS.
Custom internal tools, deterministic by design: built for a specific workflow, reliable, and easy to trust. Some use AI, but the logic stays in my control, never a black box. A selection from Dublin City University, where I also customise MoveON (QS) with XSLT pipelines and automation rules.
A React tool for KA171 budget planning: multi-year grant rates, travel distance bands and DAC/ODA compliance flags, with partner-outreach emails generated inline.
Cross-references student nominations against bilateral-agreement allocations with fuzzy university matching, ISCED compatibility checks and faculty-level routing.
A central dashboard to manage KA171 cohorts, partners and participants across several concurrent grants, each with its own compliance rules.
Generates official visa and invitation letters from participant records at the click of a button, no more manual copy-paste into templates.
Produces tailored partner-outreach emails with the right agreement details, contacts and programme context filled in automatically.
A Power Automate and Apps Script pipeline that syncs the office's Microsoft and Google environments so data flows both ways without manual re-entry.
Built for the college on Google Forms, Sheets and Apps Script: a request comes in, a script validates and routes it through a multi-level approval chain, then fires the right emails and logs everything. One dependable pattern behind several systems.
The real tools behind everything above.
